from Adam on 08/14/2025 04:23 AMAdam quickly shaved until he was satisfied with the way he looked. Then he got the shower ready, turning it to the correct temp that he liked. Once that was done, he began to undress and was soon in the shower. After Adam got into the shower, he started to wash his hair, at first humming along with the songs that was in his head. But as he began to wash his hair and run shampoo through it not once but twice, he could feel himself starting to now sing the songs that were in his head happily. And as he was singing and washing his hair and washing himself, he couldn't help picturing his and Laura's wedding day, even though he hasn't asked her yet and she hasn't said yes yet. But he couldn't help it, he was just too excited for everything that was slowly unfurling in his life, including his plan to purpose to his Laura.

from Adam on 08/11/2025 06:02 AMFinally, Adam got home and after parking his truck and turning it off, he reached over and grabbed the ring from the glove box. Adam went inside and then went over to his guitar and made sure the strings were good, which they should have been because they were brand new. He quickly put his guitar in its case and then propped it up next to the blue chair that he ususally sat in to read. He quickly looked up at the clock and smiled. He knew that being late a few minutes wouldn't hurt one way or another. So, Adam ran up to his room, put the ring on his dresser, and then went to his closet to pick out the best dressed clothes he had. He made sure that there was no dust on his clothes and then laid them out on his bed. Finally, once he had everything done, he grabbed his under clothes and shaving kit and headed to the bathroom to take a nice hot long, but not too long, shower and get himself ready for what was going to be an exciting night.

He knew he had just enough time to get back to the ranch and get himself a shower and a shave with his best clothes laying out for him to put on before he had to pick up Laura. So, Adam went and got into his truck, putting his purcheses in the glove box for later, started his truck and soon was pulling out of his parking spot and out of the parking lot. Once Adam knew it was clear, Adam turned onto the highway and headed towards the Ponderosa with a smile on his face and a song in his heart. As Adam was driving and thinking about everything that was going to happen later on that night, Adam reached over and turned on the radio as he was driving. Though his mind and thoughts were on other things, Adam couldn't help himself but to sing along with the song that was currently playing on the radio.

from Adam on 08/05/2025 10:28 AMIt took Adam looking through half the cases, before he found the perfect blue sapphire ring for Laura. As he was getting a better look at it, Adam couldn't quit smiling at the thought of Laura wearing this ring as her engagement ring. After several minutes of looking at the ring, making sure there were no flaws on it, Adam smiled at the clerk and said he would be more than happy to buy it, along with all his other things that he had found. The clerk smiled as he asked if he wanted them each gifted wrapped, and Adam said yes, though he did request that eacch of them be not only wrapped seprately but in different color wrapping paper so that he could surprise Laura with each one at the exact moment he had planned. Then clerk smiled again and then nodded as they walked over to the cash register so that Adam could pay for his purchases before they are wrapped up.

from Adam on 08/03/2025 06:53 AMAfter going through all his choices of necklace and earrings combos, he finally found a set that would go perfect with the charm bracelett. The clerk put the necklace and earring combo with the bracelett and then they moved onto the engagement ring part of Adam's three piece gift set for Laura. But this this time, since there was about 1000 or more engagement rings to look at, and Adam was going to look at a many as possible until he found the perfect one. Adam knew what he wanted and what it had to look like and he wasn't about to stop until he either found it or something that came very close to what he wanted. So, the clerk took Adam to the first case of rings and together, they began to look through all the rings in the case.

from Adam on 08/02/2025 10:02 AMAdam and the clerk talked for a while about the charm bracelet and all the different charms that he could purchase. Once Adam made his selection of charms, the clerk pulled the bracelet and charms off the shelf and set them aside. Then the clerk asked Adam what else that he could help Adam with. Adam told the clerk that he needed a necklace and earrings to go with the charm bracelet and then he wanted to look at engagment rings that had some sparkle to it. The clerk smiled as he took Adam over to the case that had some very beautiful necklace and earring combos, which Adam was carefully looking over each combo as the clerk began to explain each one.

The cool air from the air conditionar felt really good as it was a very hot day. Finally, after a few minutes of letting himself get cool, he began to look around at the different kinds of jewlery that the store had. At first, Adam just browed around looking at a few things that might work for what he was looking for. And then Adam spots the first perfect gift for Laura. It was a charm bracelet that not only had a few beautiful and sparkling diamonds, plus he could see all the different charms that could be purchased for it. Once he was ready to choose that, he flagged down a clerk, who came happily over to help Adam with his first purchase.

from Adam on 07/27/2025 08:59 AMAs Adam was driving to town, he couldn't help but imagine what kind of ring he would get her. He wanted something shiney and sparklely. He also wanted something that would look good on her finger, as well as something she could show off to people. He had a few ideas on what he wanted to get her, but he really couldn't make up his mind until he got to the jewlery store and saw his choices. The other thing that was on his mind was what song would he sing to her. Again, he had a few choices in mind, but he wasn't sure which one would exactly fit the mood at the moment. Finally, Adam pulled into the parking lot of the jewlery store and parked his truck. After shutting down his truck, he got out of his truck and took a deep breathe. The first thing was first, he would take care of this little issue, then he would deal with the song issue afterwards. Then Adam disappeared into the jewlery store in hopes of finding the perfect ring.

And it wasn't long before Adam began courting her and soon everybody knew that Valerie Quinn was Adam's girl. Now it was a year and half later, and Adam was so full of love for Valerie, his heart was going to burst. Plus, Adam knew that it was time that he put a ring on her finger and really made her his. Adam knew it was time for him to settle down and not only find a nice place on the Ponderosa to homestead, but to settle down and raise his own Cartwright family. But in order to do all of that, he needed a plan, so while Valerie was upstairs sleeping, Adam was downstairs looking at a map of the entire Ponderosa estate, trying to figure out where he wanted to put his and Valerie's future home.

And when Adam heard her say that she would be ready by 7 pm, she couldn't help but smile big and brightly, even though she couldn't see it. As they continued to talk about everything and anything, Adam noticed the time on the clock and his grin grew even bigger. Finally, after about an hour and half of talking about anything and everything, they both said they loved each other and soon hung up. Once Adam was off the phone, he put his phone in his pocket, went over and put both his hat and gunbelt on and was soon out the door and in his truck. Adam was soon on his way to town, thinking about the ring he was going to pick for his future wife. And as he was driving, a smile came over his face as he knew deep in her heart that she would say yes.
